The kind of request that brings joy to my heart.....a bridal shower, but not just any bridal shower request! One that allows guest with a gluten intolerance to enjoy a delicious dessert along with the other guests. The cupcake tower included a top row and bottom tier of vanilla cupcakes with white champagne buttercream and the middle tier was gluten free vanilla cupcakes with lavendar champagne buttercream! Congratulations to the bride!

My Graduate!
My youngest daughter graduated from elementary school, I have such mixed emotions. I'm so sad that my baby is all grown up, but it is nice to see her grow up into such an amazing young lady! What I didn't have mixed emotions about was what kind of graduation cake to do......it HAD to be Hello Kitty! Congratulations baby, I am so proud of you!

Golf Anyone!
A friend of mine named Justine ordered a cake from me for an office birthday and now says that her fellow employees liked it so much, they wanted another! Justine told me the cake was for someone that liked to golf, but not to go out of my way to do anything special. I decided to use some rice cripsy treats to make a golf ball and cover it with fondant. I also made a little tee out of fondant. Justine request not to cover the cake in fondant, as they LOVE the buttercream! I hope Al had a nice birthday and enjoyed his cake.

Finding Nemo
A friend asked me to create a cake for his girlfriend's birthday. He told me they liked to have dinner at the beach together. After some brainstorming, we came up with the Finding Nemo idea and it turned out pretty great! It is a 4 layer cake, vanilla bean with pineapple filling and champagne buttercream. 2 of the layers are swirled with an ocean blue color and the top and bottom layers are plain vanilla bean cake. I hope they will take a photo once the cake is sliced so I can see if it looks as cool as I imagine it to.
