Underwater cake
This was a labor of love! I got the opportunity to do two cakes for a woman that I used to go to Jr. High school with! This cake was layers of chocolate chip and vanilla cake, with fillings of strawberry and chocolate buttercream. I delivered it to a beautiful paddleboat in the Channel Islands harbor! The cake was created to accompany underwater themed centerpieces, the photos were sent to me by the client and I went from there. It was really beautiful when it was all put together! EVERYTHING is edible!
Western Baby Shower
This was a really fun cake to make! It seems like the news of my champagne buttercream is spreading like wildfire and everyone wants it on thier cakes. So this cake was vanilla with champagne buttercream. It was my first time attempting a stacked cake and it was travelling all the way to Long Beach! The cake arrived safe and sound!

Trader Joe's cake
I have a part time job for Trader Joe's, which is a great place to work! They threw a party for us in a local park and hired me to make the cake. It was a full sheet cake, never made a cake that big! Chocolate on one half and vanilla on the other with bavarian cream buttercream. The kukui shell necklace is something we wear at the store when we are doing customer service, so my daughter suggested that we make one from fondant and put it on the cake! What a great idea! I used the logo on our Trader Joe's paper bag to hand paint the logo onto the fondant. We had a really great party!
Piano Cake for recital
This was probably the most fun and rewarding cake that I have made to date. The piano was crafted from rice crispy treats and covered in fondant. The cake was a chocolate fudge cake with my signature champage buttercream!
The best part was delivering it to my friend Larry's niece at her piano recital! She had no idea he was bringing her a cake and the look on her face when she saw it was priceless!
